Arcis Golf is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead event operations at Ocotillo Golf Club. You will supervise servers, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring flawless execution of banquets and celebrations for members and guests.

You will coordinate with planners and clients to meet requirements and maintain high service standards. Join a dynamic team focused on guest experiences, teamwork, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Captain or in a similar supervisory role.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and event planning.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, ensuring the successful execution of each event.
• Collaborate with event planners, clients, and internal teams to understand event requirements and expectations.
• Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure the team delivers exceptional service.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring proper placement of tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure all details are in place.
• Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards, procedures, and customer interaction.
• Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details and expectations.
• Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure it meets or exceeds standards.
• Address any service-related issues and implement improvements as needed.
