Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee all banquet and event operations. You will coordinate setups, liaise with clients and planners, supervise servers and support staff, and ensure flawless service from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory banquet experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Captain or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and event planning.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate banquet and event operations to ensure successful execution of each event.
• Collaborate with planners, clients, and internal teams to understand requirements and expectations.
• Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Provide clear instructions to ensure exceptional service.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of banquet spaces with proper placement of tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Conduct pre-event inspections to confirm all details are in place.
• Interact with clients and guests to meet needs and exceed expectations.
• Address issues promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards and procedures.
• Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate details and expectations.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality to meet or exceed standards.

The Banquet Captain at Ocotillo Golf Club oversees and coordinates all aspects of banquet and event operations. This role requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure seamless execution of events, from setup to breakdown.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, ensuring the successful execution of each event.
