Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts' The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club in Virginia Beach is seeking a Banquet Bartender to assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions. You will set up bars, mix drinks, and ensure friendly, timely service.

You must be able to stand for long periods, handle glassware and garnishes, and comply with all alcohol service regulations. The role offers on-site work with benefits and opportunities to grow within HEI's portfolio.

Qualifications

• Hotel or banquet service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Basic knowledge of serving alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Banquet Manager in serving guests during functions.
• Set up portable bar in function area according to policies.
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and safety controls.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
