Newrez in Tempe, AZ seeks a Supervisor Bankruptcy to lead a team of Bankruptcy Case Managers, overseeing processes, timelines, and metrics while coaching and developing staff.

You will train new hires on systems of record, investor guidelines, and industry standards; monitor performance, analyze data, and collaborate with attorneys on escalated issues to ensure accurate and timely mortgage servicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in bankruptcy or mortgage service.
• 1–2 years of management experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of multiple Bankruptcy Case Managers.
• Develop and maintain up to date policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and help implement new processes.
• Training of new hires on all systems of record, investor guidelines and industry standards.
• Use reporting to manage the team and makes changes to reporting, as necessary.
• All aspects of personnel management including coaching and annual reviews.
• Act as the Bankruptcy point of contact for other departments within the Company as well as attorney firms on escalated issues.
• Track and analyze departmental data and report on the activities of the team.
• Assist with attorney billing and invoice approval.
