Job summary

Newrez is seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Case Manager II to handle complex bankruptcy accounts and an increased caseload. You will analyze, review, and reference materials to maximize recovery within bankruptcy parameters.

The role requires researching bankruptcy information in PACER and other systems, preparing Proofs of Claim, tracking payments, and coordinating with trustees and counsel. Strong communication and Excel skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• 2-4 years of mortgage bankruptcy or related legal services preferred.
• Any legal background would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex bankruptcy accounts or increased caseloads.
• Receive, update and review bankruptcy information daily.
• Prepare and file Proofs of Claim and Transfers of Claim with bankruptcy courts.
