Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; related bankruptcy experience encouraged.
• 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Background in bankruptcy is helpful but not required.
• Any legal background would be beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, update and review bankruptcy information daily.
• Research accounts using PACER, AIS, trustee sites, and internal systems.
• Prepare and file Proofs of Claim and Transfers of Claim with bankruptcy courts by deadlines.
• Ensure proper payment tracking in the ILS system.
• Monitor accounts for payments per bankruptcy plan.
• Coordinate with Bankruptcy Litigation, Foreclosure, and Loss Mitigation teams.
• Perform discharge reviews to determine lien release requirements.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
