Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Quality Control Auditor for its Bankruptcy department to identify risks, review judgments pre-filing, and ensure compliance with client regulations. The role partners with managers to remediate defects and improve processes.

Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years in mortgage servicing or bankruptcy, strong attention to detail, and proficient MS Office skills. On-site work in Tempe, AZ is expected with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required.
• 3-4 years of mortgage servicing or Bankruptcy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational risks and escalate issues to management.
• Review proposed judgments pre-filing for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct reviews of bankruptcy documents to ensure accuracy as needed.
• Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improvements.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly loan level quality review results and trends.
