Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal with Bankruptcy/ Mortgage Foreclosure experience in Los Angeles. You will handle e-filing, document prep, and court interactions, supporting attorneys across a high-volume practice.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3+ years in bankruptcy/foreclosure, with strong MS Office/iManage/Adobe skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; three years of bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosure experience required.
• Experience with e-filing in State and Federal Courts.
• Knowledge of multiple states’ bankruptcy and foreclosure procedures is ideal.
• Proficiency with MS Office, iManage and Adobe; strong written/edited communication.

Responsibilities

• File pleadings and notices in state and federal courts; prepare and cite-check documents.
• Record billable time per client guidelines and draft transmittal letters.
• Investigate facts and prepare case summaries for attorneys.
• Review title reports, mortgage documents, and lien priorities for foreclosure actions.
• Monitor deadlines and maintain litigation calendars; perform case reviews and reports.
• Communicate with courts and clients regarding deadlines and next steps.
