Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Litigation Paralegal with bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosure experience to support attorneys in a fast-paced environment. You will perform e-filing in state and federal courts, draft and cite check documents, conduct legal research, and manage high-volume caseloads while ensuring deadlines and regulatory compliance.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and three years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Three years of bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosure experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), iManage and Adobe.
• E-Filing experience in both State and Federal Court systems.

Responsabilités

• E-File in both State and Federal Court systems.
• Record and track billable time per client guidelines.
• Draft notices, pleadings, affidavits, motions and briefs and cite-check documents.
• Prepare exhibits, including trial exhibits; redact confidential information.
• Conduct legal research on creditor rights, foreclosure law, and title issues.
