Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm with 500+ attorneys, seeks a Litigation Paralegal with bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosure experience to support attorneys in state and federal matters. Responsibilities include e-filing, drafting and formatting documents, and managing deadlines.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree preferred and at least three years of relevant experience, strong computer skills (MS Office, iManage, Adobe), and a proven ability to handle high-volume caseloads

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; three years of bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosure experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), iManage and Adobe.
• E-Filing experience in state and federal courts; knowledge of multiple states’ bankruptcy/foreclosure procedures is ideal.

Responsabilités

• E-File in State and Federal Court systems.
• Record and track billable time per client guidelines.
• Prepare, review, format and cite-check legal documents and notices.
• Prepare exhibits and trial materials; redact confidential information.
• Conduct legal research on creditor rights, foreclosure law, and title issues; review title reports and liens.
• Manage high-volume caseload with strict deadlines and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor case deadlines and calendar litigation events; prepare case updates and summaries.
• Communicate with courts and clients regarding deadlines and updates.
