Centennial Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to retain existing relationships and establish new deposit accounts. The role emphasizes cross-selling bank products and providing superior customer service.

The CSR I will support branch goals, perform teller duties when needed, and assist with loan processing while ensuring regulatory compliance. A strong focus on accuracy, courtesy, and problem resolution is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with on-the-job training or specialized schooling.
• Strong communication and numerical reasoning abilities are required.
• Ability to interpret and respond to customer inquiries and cross-sell appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and process related documentation.
• Comply with applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
• Assess customer needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Perform Teller duties as needed (Teller/Sr. Teller/Teller Supervisor).
• Support attainment of branch goals and sales targets.
• Refer new business to subsidiaries (insurance, mortgage, brokerage).
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure long-term problem resolution.
• Develop and build customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Follow up on referrals from team members.
• Assist with loan origination and processing as needed.
• Answer inquiries about products, rates and services.
• Provide ancillary services such as notary services.
• Track and monitor required documentation.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance; adhere to work schedules.
• Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training.
• Stay alert and work safely; perform other duties as assigned.
