Job summary

CEN is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to retain existing relationships and establish new deposit accounts in line with branch goals. You will promote bank products and services and provide exceptional customer support.

The role involves opening accounts, cross-selling, and assisting with loan processing, with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction across daily banking operations.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with on-the-job training in a specific skill area (e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation).
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and other products offered by the bank.
• Cross-sell appropriate products and services to customers.
• Assist with loan origination and processing as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries relating to products, rates and services.
• Maintain required documentation and provide notary services if applicable.
