Job summary

Sts1000Sco is seeking a qualified Retail Banking CSR to provide friendly service and help clients meet financial needs through transactions and cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities include processing center transactions, greeting clients, opening accounts and CDs, answering inquiries, and maintaining high accuracy while upholding bank policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and consistent attendance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years of retail banking experience preferred.
• Customer service and sales oriented.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good PC skills – proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Highly motivated.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others as appropriate, as well as of company documents and records.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process banking center transactions, safety deposit, cash machine and vault balancing.
• Greet clients, identify needs, promote bank products, and refer as needed.
• Open personal accounts, CDs, and cross-sell services.
• Answer client inquiries and resolve less complex issues.
• Build client loyalty and relationships; address clients by name.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every client.
• Follow bank policies and guidelines.
• Participate in retail sales programs to meet goals.
• Attend team meetings and community projects related to the position.
• Provide transaction overrides and assist less experienced CSRs with processing.
• Assist Manager with audits, reporting and scheduling.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Complete all training related to the position.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
