Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular Retail Banking teammate to provide timely client transactions and exceptional service while educating clients on digital tools. You will support sales and IRM activities and contribute to a strong client experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, teller or client service experience, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced branch environment. Some travel and weekend/extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
