Job summary

PwC is seeking a Testing Strategy & Planning Lead to shape testing approaches for banking platform transformations. You will guide planning across workstreams, lead teams, coach staff, and manage client accounts to deliver dependable outcomes.

Based in the Software and Product Innovation practice, you will oversee validation, review deliverables, and improve testing planning and execution across engagements. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 4 years of testing/QA experience.
• Experience with core banking platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing strategy and planning for core banking transformation initiatives
• Define test scope, priorities, and timelines across system, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Coordinate test planning across business, technology, and delivery teams to validate readiness for releases
• Develop test scenarios, cases, and traceability for banking processes
• Manage defect triage, root cause tracking, and issue resolution
• Oversee test environment preparation and data needs
• Review testing outcomes and recommend remediation actions
• Coach team members on testing methodologies and QA processes
• Monitor progress and escalate blockers impacting release readiness
• Apply knowledge of banking platforms and transformation programs to shape testing activities
