Job summary

PwC is seeking a Testing Strategy & Planning Lead to shape testing approaches for bank platform transformation programs in Charlotte, NC. You will guide planning across test workstreams, translate business needs into validation activities, and deliver dependable outcomes as a Manager.

You will lead teams, coach junior staff, manage client accounts, and bring structure to complex work through disciplined project management, testing expertise, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading testing strategy for core banking transformations.
• Knowledge of STLC and test management.
• Experience coordinating client-facing delivery across timelines and deliverables.
• Mentoring teams through quality reviews and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Leading testing strategy and planning activities for core banking transformation initiatives.
• Defining test scope, priorities, and timelines across system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Coordinating test planning across business, technology, and delivery teams to validate readiness for platform releases.
• Developing test scenarios, cases, and traceability coverage for banking processes and data flows.
• Managing defect triage, root cause tracking, and issue resolution during test cycles.
• Overseeing test environment preparation and test data needs for milestones.
• Reviewing testing outcomes and recommending remediation actions based on risks and dependencies.
• Coaching team members on testing methodology and automated approaches.
• Monitoring progress against delivery timelines and escalating blockers to release readiness.
• Applying knowledge of core banking platforms and transformation programs to testing activities.
