McCarthy Holthus LLP seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to provide strategic direction for its banking litigation practice. You will manage a diverse caseload, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide internal teams through complex disputes from inception to resolution.

The role requires a JD, active Texas license, and strong research/writing skills. Typical hours are Mon–Fri, with onsite presence 2–3 days per week, plus potential extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of active litigation experience.
• Expertise in contested default and banking/mortgage servicing litigation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior organizational and case management abilities.
• High proficiency in legal research using major databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight and strategic direction for the firm's litigation matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload of banking litigation matters.
• Ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and regulatory laws.
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process modifications.
• Provide guidance to operational staff on litigation-related issues.
• Review and approve procedural changes for legal soundness.
• Occasionally work extended hours as needed.
