The role requires strong compliance judgment, the ability to manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, and a commitment to working onsite in Plano, TX, with typical weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active Texas license.
• Admission to practice before all four Texas federal district courts preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of active litigation experience, with banking/mortgage servicing focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight and strategic direction for the firm's litigation matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload of banking litigation matters.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory laws.
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process modifications.
• Provide legal guidance to operational staff on litigation issues.
• Review and approve procedural changes for legal soundness.
• May perform other duties to support department goals.
• May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
