Job summary

National Bank of Commerce is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to drive training programs across Wisconsin and Minnesota. The role involves assessing learning needs, developing materials, and delivering in-person and virtual sessions for employees.

You will manage the LMS, track training records, and collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure programs align with regulatory and service standards. A Bachelor’s degree and banking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 1+ year in a training or coaching environment.
• 3+ years in a banking position.
• Training certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills both in person and virtual.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and identify learning opportunities.
• Support development and maintenance of the annual training calendar.
• Create, update, and deliver training materials, guides, and resources.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback.
• Develop and maintain role-specific training and onboarding programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to train employees on policies, procedures, and business processes.
• Provide ongoing training and support on company systems, products, and customer service standards.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), training records, and course assignments.
• Ensure access to learning resources, training systems, and development opportunities.
• Support employee development initiatives, training events, and special projects.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, and Learning & Development teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Promote company culture, values, and continuous learning.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
