Job summary

Unity Bank is seeking a training specialist to design, conduct, and organize programs that boost employee performance and organizational productivity. You will assess training needs, develop curricula, and deliver engaging sessions across branches, using adult learning methods and a variety of instructional formats.

The role requires travel to branch locations, a Bachelor's degree, and at least four years in training, with banking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in trainer/training manager roles.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in banking industry preferred.
• Travel to branch locations and training centers required.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs with managers, employees, and surveys.
• Plan, develop, and provide training programs using adult learning methods.
• Offer specific training programs to improve job skills.
• Develop manuals, guides, and multimedia aids.
• Evaluate materials for audience relevance and alignment.
• Deliver ongoing technical and personal development classes.
• Coach managers in techniques for developing employees.
• Monitor training costs and justify expenditures.
• Create testing and evaluation procedures for programs.
• Maintain training database and generate management reports.
• Create annual training calendar and adjust as needed.
• Administer annual compliance assignments.
• Deliver monthly HR Orientation sessions.
