Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee comprehensive facilities management for a banking client in Wayne, NJ. The role focuses on mechanical systems, soft services, and retail banking operations to ensure seamless, compliant, and customer-friendly facilities.

The successful candidate will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, coordinate vendors, and maintain brand standards while supporting branch openings, closures, and renovations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years facilities management experience with mechanical aptitude.
• 3+ years managing hard and soft services.
• 3+ years in retail or customer-facing environments (retail banking preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing janitorial, landscaping, and facility contracts.
• Technical certifications in relevant trades preferred (HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and specs.
• Experience managing multiple locations and vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of codes, safety regulations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for banking facilities, including HVAC and fire safety.
• Direct and supervise soft services such as janitorial, waste management, landscaping, and reception.
• Maintain branch facilities to support customer-facing operations and brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, codes, ADA, and safety standards.
• Develop and manage facilities budgets including hard/soft services and utilities.
• Manage vendor contracts, monitor KPIs, and ensure proper insurance and certifications.
• Lead emergency response and business continuity planning.
