Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee end-to-end facilities operations for a banking client in Wayne, NJ. The role requires hands-on management of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, plus supervision of janitorial and soft services across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities management, 3+ years in hard/soft services, and retail banking exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years facilities management experience with mechanical aptitude
• 3+ years experience managing hard and soft services
• 3+ years experience in retail or customer-facing environments (retail banking experience highly preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems
• Experience managing janitorial, landscaping, and facility support service contracts
• Technical certifications in relevant trades (HVAC, electrical, etc.) preferred
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Experience managing multiple locations and vendor relationships
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Facilities Operations & Maintenance overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across banking facilities
• Soft Services Management directing janitorial, cleaning, waste, landscaping, pest control, reception and window cleaning
• Retail Banking Environment Management maintaining branch facilities and coordinating after-hours work
• Compliance & Safety ensuring compliance with banking regulations, codes, ADA and safety standards
• Budget & Resource Management managing budgets for hard/soft services, utilities and improvements
• Vendor & Contract Management managing multiple providers, negotiating contracts, and reviewing KPIs
• Emergency Response & Business Continuity acting as primary contact for facility emergencies and continuity planning
