Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank in Iowa seeks a Customer Service Representative to warmly greet customers, process deposits, checks, and withdrawals, and open new accounts for individuals and businesses.

You will maintain confidentiality, stay informed about the full line of products, support with vault duties, and work collaborative shifts across Nichols, Riverside and Lone Tree locations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Accept checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts, and enter deposits.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals.
• Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, and gift cards for consumers and businesses.
• Process loan payments.
• Balance a cash drawer at 95% or higher.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with bank policies and regulations.
• Remain educated on the complete bank line of products and services.
• Identify fraudulent activity.
• Assist with night depository and vault duties.
