Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional customer service while processing transactions and identifying sales opportunities. You will manage cash drawer balance, adhere to security procedures, and maintain confidentiality of information.

The role requires high school completion and banking experience is preferred; you will support the Banking Center operations and meet referral goals through effective client interactions.

Qualifications

• Banking is a highly regulated industry; you will be expected to follow bank policies and complete compliance training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook 365 and able to learn banking software programs.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; present information clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Strong product knowledge for selling and promoting banking products.

Responsibilities

• Personally models the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
• Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions.
• Handles CSR cash drawer with proper balancing and cash handling procedures.
• Complies with security and audit procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and customer information.
• Contributes to a team environment by answering incoming calls and supporting banking center needs.
• Meets assigned referral goals and follows up on sales opportunities.
• Determines appropriate line of business for sales opportunities and ensures customer needs are met.
• Completes outbound calls to support sales and service in the Banking Center.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
