Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar role.
• Experience in a relationship-oriented environment preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset focused on teamwork and customer experience.
• Flexibility and responsiveness to evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, accurate service for everyday banking transactions and moderately complex requests.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, and currency transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and manage branch cash ordering.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance (CIP, FinCEN, BSA).
• Issue debit cards and educate customers on digital tools.
• Onboard and educate customers to build relationships.
• Refer customers to Relationship Bankers for tailored solutions.
• Open/close consumer accounts and manage ownership updates.
• Promote self-service with mobile deposits, alerts, and e-statements.
• Drive growth through referrals and cross-selling.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and apply compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver holistic solutions.
• Participate in branch projects and community events.
• Maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction.
