Job summary

BTC Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Pocahontas, AR team. This full-time role involves handling customer inquiries via phone and in-person visits, processing routine banking transactions, and cross-selling bank products in line with program standards.

The position requires strong communication, cash handling experience, and solid MS Office skills. Hours are 40 per week with Saturday rotation, at our Pocahontas location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as funds transfers and inquiries about accounts.
• Research and resolve customer problems, serving as liaison between bank departments when needed.
• Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Balance customer checkbooks and process paperwork for service charges and refunds.
• Open, maintain and delete ATM and debit cards in the system.
