Job summary

BTC Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Jamesport, MO, to deliver courteous, accurate service at the Gilman City location. Esta position requires handling routine account requests, balance checks, and cross-selling bank products while maintaining compliance with policies.

Hours are full-time, with a 40-hour workweek including Saturday rotation. The CSR will assist customers face-to-face and via phone, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and flawless service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as funds transfers, stop payments, and inquiries about checking and savings accounts.
• Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary.
• Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs in accordance with the banks’ program standards.
• Balance customer checkbooks and process necessary paperwork for rebates.
• Verify information on ATM/debit card applications and handle related logs and rebates.
• Open/close the safe deposit vault and coordinate with bank personnel for safekeeping.
