Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Banking CSR in San Jose, CA to open and maintain deposit accounts, support commercial banking relationships, and ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on onboarding new accounts, servicing business clients, and HOA-related account management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in banking or deposit operations, strong customer service and communication skills, and familiarity with ChexSystems/OFAC/CIP processes.

Qualifications

• Open, board, and maintain new and existing deposit accounts.
• Support commercial customer relationships and assist with account retention and growth.
• Ensure accurate CIP documentation, regulatory compliance, and account file maintenance.
• Review HOA-related agreements and trust account requirements.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant banking, customer service, new accounts, teller, or deposit operations experience.
• Knowledge of banking products, business checking accounts, deposit services, and customer account documentation.
• Experience using or working with ChexSystems, OFAC procedures, CIP requirements, or similar banking compliance processes.
• Ability to understand and follow bank policies, procedures, federal regulations, and state regulatory requirements.
• Strong customer service, relationship management, communication, and follow-up skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential financial information accurately and professionally.
• Ability to participate in sales meetings, product training, and service initiatives to improve customer experience and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts in line with policies and documentation standards.
• Consult with customers to identify deposit products and services.
• Support retention and growth of commercial banking relationships.
• Review HOA-related agreements to support contract administration and compliance.
• Monitor account activity for regulatory compliance and internal standards.
• Utilize ChexSystems and OFAC screening as part of onboarding and ID verification.
