Job summary

Gartner Executive Programs (ExP) is seeking a senior strategist to manage a portfolio of CIO relationships within Banking & Financial Services, delivering tailored ExP solutions across on-site and virtual formats.

You will bring 15+ years in CXO roles with deep IT and digital transformation expertise, and collaborate with Gartner Sales to drive member engagement and renewals for a global CIO community.

Qualifications

• Consulting and/or CxO roles with 15+ years of progressive technology exposure (AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Block Chain, Big Data, CLOUD, etc.)
• Candidates should have experience from within the Life science Industries; New Drug Development, R&D and moving from pre-revenue to commercialization is ideal.
• Demonstrate exposure to large E2E transformative initiatives having led/co-led large critical programs
• Extensive knowledge of a CIO's focus areas and an in-depth understanding of the IT industry (including Leadership, IT Operations Management, strategy and trends, use of metrics, etc.) and priorities such as the challenges of today's CIOs and how Gartner ETS can make the difference
• Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience with CXO level executives

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 28+ member relationships of CIOs with a focus within the Banking & Financial Services industry
• Leverage subject matter expertise as a former C-Suite Executive to create service solutions for clients utilizing all ExP products
• Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing member Mission Critical Priorities (MCPs) and developing a customized service plan
• Conduct a mix of on-site and virtual briefings, including workshops, research analyst visits, roundtables and webinars
• Present or facilitate at ExP events where relevant
• Build a strong partnership with Gartner's Sales organization and collaborate with them to ensure member engagement and renewal of ExP business
