Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking an Assistant Banking Center Manager in Glendale, AZ to support daily operations and lead a team of sales and service professionals to meet goals and deliver outstanding service.

You'll oversee banking center functions, handle loan applications, open new accounts, build client relationships, generate local business, and ensure regulatory compliance while modeling professional behavior.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Supervisory abilities, including: leadership skills, sound decision making, the ability to motivate others, and the capability to address conflict in a positive and productive manner.
• Proven ability to proactively and effectively participate in a sales program, as well as meet or exceed expectations for the sales and referral activities established for this position.
• Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as required.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expense

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the operational functions of the banking center and provides support to staff.
• Perform required steps to process loan applications and customer originated financial transactions, open new accounts and sell banking products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to uncover and satisfy their needs through the sale of financial products and services.
• Generate sales leads through community outreach activities and develop business partners, while building internal relationships.
• Assist clients with concerns or questions regarding their accounts and resolve issues.
• Ensure audit/compliance procedures are followed and that security measures are adhered to in opening/closing procedures.
