Job summary

East Cambridge Savings Bank in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Part-Time Senior Service Associate for the Inman Square Banking Center to deliver exceptional sales and service. Under supervision, you will drive branch sales, coach staff, and handle loan inquiries, mortgage options, and daily banking transactions with accuracy.

Proficiency in digital banking products and strong communication are essential. You will work to meet monthly and annual goals and support customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales and customer service in incentive-based role with 1+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years sales and customer service in incentive-based role.
• Proficient with digital banking products.
• Able to meet monthly/annual sales goals.
• Knowledge of bank products and services.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Able to register as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator under the S.A.F.E. Act.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers professionally to meet customer service standards and referrals.
• Attain monthly/annual sales goals and assist with branch sales promotions.
• Generate and pursue sales leads by phone, letter and personal contact.
• Provide daily coaching and leadership to sales and service staff.
• Conduct needs analyses and cross-sell products/services to customers.
• Conduct loan interviews and respond to mortgage inquiries; originate mortgages within limits.
• Promote bank products/services to local businesses and maintain relationships.
• Oversee daily branch operations and prepare branch reports.
• Train new employees and ensure accurate documentation of transactions.
