Job summary

Northeast Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager in Bangor, ME to lead daily operations and drive deposit growth. The role blends sales leadership with active contribution, building primary banking relationships and managing a team to achieve goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in retail banking and strong relationship-management skills, with a focus on customer experience, community involvement, and operational excellence. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Five years or more of progressive and successful retail banking, financial services, and/or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and deposit growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of retail sales, service, and business development for a full-service Banking Center.
• Accountable for Banking Center goals, focusing on deposit growth and primary relationships.
• Develop new business and deepen customer relationships through outreach and referrals.
• Coach Banking Center team with observations, huddles, pipeline reviews, and actionable feedback.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure disciplined follow-through toward goals.
• Manage human resources processes including recruiting, onboarding, training, and development.
