Job summary

Northeast Bank in Bangor, ME is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead the daily operation and growth of a full-service Banking Center. This role blends sales leadership with hands-on contribution to deposit growth and relationship building.

The position requires guiding a team, coaching performance, and maintaining a high standard of customer experience while ensuring sound operational execution. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in retail banking are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• Five years or more of progressive retail banking and/or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking, including consumer and business deposit products and growth strategies.
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, coach to behaviors and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of retail sales, service, and business development for a full-service Banking Center.
• Accept responsibility for achieving Banking Center goals with deposit growth as the primary focus.
• Develop new business and deepen customer relationships through proactive outreach and networking.
• Establish clear expectations for team activity and monitor progress toward goals.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities with timely follow-through.
• Provide observational coaching and feedback to strengthen team performance.
• Build community relationships and sources of referrals to support growth.
