Job summary

Truist Financial in the United States (Texas) seeks a Regular full-time Teller/Client Service Specialist to deliver exceptional client experiences, manage standard and complex transactions, and support sales and relationship management initiatives. The role includes educating clients on digital banking, contributing to IRM efforts, and participating in leadership routines.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and ability to multi-task

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities for referral to branch team members or specialists.
• Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge of products and services through meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution; handle workload based on branch demands.
