Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions
• Act with accountability in achieving individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch
• Demonstrate ownership in resolving customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to explain complex solutions in a simple to understand way
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer, every day
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand financial needs and clearly explain retail banking products, services, and digital solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
• Provide dependable, efficient service while maintaining professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
• Embrace a technology-driven customer experience by confidently supporting digital banking tools and platforms
• Build strong relationships with customers, retail partners, and community members by representing Woodforest as a trusted neighborhood bank
• Actively participate in local retail marketing efforts that drive branch traffic, deepen customer relationships, and support community engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with branch team members to support community events, outreach activities, and in-store promotions that align with Woodforest’s community-focused mission
• Uphold the highest ethical standards by safeguarding customer confidentiality, privacy, and sensitive information
• Comply fully with all bank policies, procedures, security protocols, and regulatory guidelines
• Demonstrate honesty, transparency, and respect in all customer, peer, and leadership interactions
• Perform branch servicing duties including teller transactions, cash handling, balancing, ordering cash, vault activities, audits, ATM servicing, and workspace upkeep
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and attention to compliance standards
• Follow branch security procedures and remain vigilant in protecting the bank, customers, and team members
• Maintain flexibility to support additional retail branch duties and business needs as assigned
