Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 financial institution in South Philadelphia, PA. You will handle cash, assist members with deposits, loans, and card applications, and provide guidance on products and services. You will support teammates and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

1–3 years of cash handling experience is preferred. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am–1:30pm.

Qualifications

1-3 years of cash handling experience or related banking work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Ability to de-escalate and remain calm under pressure in a customer service setting.

Responsibilities

Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration.
Perform platform banking functions.
Assist level I team members.
Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services.
May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures.
May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian.
Perform other duties as assigned.
