Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Jonesborough, TN, seeks a customer service teller to provide quality, accurate daily processing of financial transactions in a retail banking environment. You will serve as the first contact for clients, process deposits and withdrawals, and promote bank products to enhance client relationships.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required and 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Handle a cash drawer and follow audit and security policies and procedures.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
Process miscellaneous transactions such as bonds and money orders.
Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM entries.
Assist with night and lobby depository deposits and dual control vault responsibilities.
Stay informed of operational updates to ensure compliance with current guidelines.
Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve client issues promptly.
Identify cross selling opportunities and refer clients to appropriate teams.
Promote bank products and services to enhance client relationships.
Adhere to bank regulations, policies, risk management, and code of ethics.
