Job summary

BankWest is hiring for a teller role in Armour, SD. You will actively greet customers, assess banking needs, and complete teller transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, wires, ACH, and balance management. You will also support account maintenance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for convenience services.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year in related field.
• Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, determine banking needs, and serve as a single point of contact for teller transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, check cashing, wires, ACH, and other transactions accurately.
• Balance teller drawers, conduct ATM servicing, and handle night deposit/mail processing.
• Provide customer service, account maintenance, and problem resolution including stop payments and funds transfers.
• Identify customer needs for convenience services and make referrals.
