Job summary

First Dakota in Pierre, SD is seeking a full-time Teller to join our Pierre team. The teller handles deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other branch duties while supporting our culture of exceptional customer service. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 with occasional Saturday incentives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred customer service/cash handling experience. A positive attitude, accuracy, and confidentiality are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the bank.
• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and coin/cash orders.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve account disputes.
• Balance teller drawer daily and balance cash in ATM.
• Identify fraud to help prevent losses.
• Participate in training programs and branch huddles.
• Meet or exceed ICP objectives.
• Maintain bank compliance.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
