Job summary

Capitol Federal Savings Bank is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Lawrence, KS to process financial transactions and assist customers in person, by drive-thru, or by phone. You will provide friendly, confidential service while minimizing wait times and promoting bank programs.

The role requires strong communication and attention to detail, with at least six months of customer service experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in customer service or related field.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs teller transactions and balances cashbox daily; participates in vault duties as needed.
• Researches, troubleshoots and resolves basic customer inquiries.
• Answers incoming calls, verifies identity and determines customer needs to resolve concerns quickly.
• Advizes customers about additional services and records referrals in the tracking system.
• Assists customers with maintenance on existing accounts and supports other departments as needed.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of customer information and bank policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports team goals.
• Adheres to all bank policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
