Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients in our Escondido, CA branch. You will handle routine transactions with accuracy, uphold our Breakthrough Client Service Standards, and help build relationships by understanding client needs.

Under supervision, you will learn bank product offerings, refer basic services to partners, and ensure compliance with policies. This onsite role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package with growth

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous banking or customer service experience.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Assist customers with product and service inquiries and identify opportunities to refer basic banking products to the appropriate partner.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations and support daily branch tasks.
