Job summary

Heritage Bank’s Everett Branch is seeking a bank teller to deliver exceptional customer service and support branch sales efforts. The role is full-time, onsite in Everett, WA, with a base hourly range and potential Level I/II placement depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities include handling routine transactions, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and promoting bank products. The position requires a HS diploma, good math and communication skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience (Level I).
• 1 year cash handling and customer service experience in financial services (Level II).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of DNA or Fiserv systems; familiarity with Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying/receiving duties and maintains a cash drawer within authority limits.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, security and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
