Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–3 years’ banking/operations experience.
• Familiarity with banking systems and transaction processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process daily transactions, including wire transfers, ACH, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Provide operational support to branch staff and customers on accounts and transactions.
• Promote excellent customer service and rapport with clients regarding daily transactions.
• Greet customers and refer to appropriate staff for products and services.
• Collaborate with team to resolve customer issues.
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities per AML and fraud policies.
• Maintain and update customer records and transaction logs.
• Assist in preparing reports for audits.
• Support new processes, software, and systems implementation.
• Test and troubleshoot banking systems and report issues to IT/management.
• Serve as first point of contact for customer interactions and manage calls.
• Route inquiries to the proper units to ensure fast responses.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
