Job summary

Smith+Nephew in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Sports Medicine Territory Manager to drive sales across the shoulder, knee, hip and small joints portfolio. You will convert physicians, provide clinical case coverage in the OR, and train surgeons through education programs in your territory.

You will build relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff and administrators, develop a territory business plan, and work cross-divisionally to raise product awareness and achieve quota.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-6 years direct sales experience, with 2-4 years in medical device industry preferred.
• Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
• Willingness to travel within territory with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls and provide clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Train surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education programs in your territory.
• Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quotas.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, administrators, and clinicians.
