Job summary

Smith+Nephew in Washington, DC is seeking a Sports Medicine Territory Manager to drive sales and clinical support within the shoulder, knee, hip and small joints portfolio. You will call on physicians, provide case coverage in OR, and educate surgeons through hands-on programs while collaborating with hospital staff and clinicians. A strong track record of quota attainment and travel readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum (4-6) years direct sales experience with 2-4 years in medical device industry preferred.
• Experience with selling technology and/or capital products to multiple call points in the hospital, including surgeons, nursing, administration, facilities, bio-med and information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Train surgeons on Smith+Nephew products through education/programs in your territory.
• Work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, hospital and OR staff, administrators, and clinicians.
• Increase awareness and adoption of products including the Sports Medicine portfolio.
• Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quotas.
