Job summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a full-time Sous Chef for our Morgan Stanley Baltimore location at 1300 Thames Street, Baltimore, MD 21231. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with pay range $23.00–$24.00 per hour.

A minimum of five years of cooking experience is required, and online applications are accepted only. As the Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef, coordinate activities of kitchen staff, ensure recipes are followed, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards

• 5 years of cooking experience required

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, training and reviews.
• Stores food properly following safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and keeps workstation clean.
