Job summary

Dietz & Watson is seeking a Field Sales Representative for the Baltimore, MD area. The role focuses on growing sales in assigned retail accounts through regular store visits, securing orders, and introducing new products, while maintaining shelf presence and inventory accuracy.

You will travel within the territory, manage routes, and build strong relationships with store personnel. 1–3+ years in retail or route sales is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in retail sales or route sales, preferably in CPG.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail accounts on a regular schedule to drive sales growth.
• Solicit and secure orders from store management or buyers.
• Sell in new products, line extensions, and promotional programs.
• Identify and fill product voids to maximize distribution and shelf presence.
• Execute sales plans and promotional initiatives.
• Travel extensively within the territory and manage route planning.
• Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions.
