Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial field or substantial equivalent experience.
• 5+ years maintenance in food manufacturing or regulated industry; 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience troubleshooting older non-PLC electromechanical systems and relay logic.
• Strong welding, fabrication, machining skills; ability to reverse-engineer obsolete components.
• Sourcing obsolete parts via aftermarket, rebuilders, or custom fabrication channels.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, LOTO, OSHA 29 CFR 1910; CMMS proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance for bakery equipment and aging assets.
• Lead maintenance team; recruit, hire, train, and develop technicians.
• Manage CMMS for work orders, asset history, and spare parts inventory.
• Develop spare parts program for obsolete components and manage vendors.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns and major overhauls with minimal production disruption.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA and local codes; support audits.
• Develop and manage department budget; identify cost-saving and energy-efficiency improvements.
• Identify end-of-life assets and build business cases for replacements.
