Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties, LLC. in Broadview is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold production and quality by ensuring proper operation of bakery equipment, ovens, packing lines, and conveyors.

The role involves equipment setup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with diagnosis of issues to minimize downtime while adhering to safety and food manufacturing standards. A high school diploma and 2–5 years in a bakery/food environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and cutting equipment.
• Service-oriented with strong responsiveness and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and complete projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and quality standards by ensuring the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, adjustments, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support and maintain production equipment including ovens, packing lines, and conveyors.
• Complete maintenance projects independently and efficiently.
• Follow all safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.
