Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support daily operations: receiving and preparing product, maintaining displays, stocking shelves, and delivering friendly service in line with WFM standards.

You will engage customers, participate in sampling, assist with inventory, and help ensure safety and sanitation. This role requires physical ability to lift 50 pounds and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to courteous, friendly service and WFM standards.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean, well stocked, and front-facing.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist sampling program and inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and practice suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
